drying jib

Not all boat maintenance occurs on the boat. The step prior to this occurred in my bathtub and consisted of showering with the jib and scrubbing it with mild detergent.
That was because I was too tired to wash the salt off the day before after the 40 KNOT WINDS.  (Its going to take me a while to recover from that one.)

Then this is how to keep the jib sheet nice and soft and pliable.  Plus, they now smell slightly like lavendar from the detergent (just a tad of it).
